- This is my friend Ashly. she's a soccer player and is going to help me describe newton's first law of motion.
- See how the soccer ball isn't moving, well an object at rest stays at rest.
- Hi I'm Carly and I'm here to show you Newtons 3 laws of motion.
- but, when Ashly kicks the ball the force is unbalanced which causes the ball to go in the way Ashly kicked it. then will be in a constant motion unless acted on by an unbalanced force.Law 1 inertia
- This is my other friend Kim. She's a golfer and is going to help me show you an example of newtons 2nd law of motion.
- Now Kim is going to hit this golfball with the same force as this basketball.Law 2 force
- The golfball will have more acceletration because it has less mass than the basketball.
- This is Kelsey she is going to help me show newton's third law of motion.
- when Kelsey jumps off the boat towards land she uses the boat to push herself forward.Law 3 action reaction
- the reason this happens is for every action there is an equal, but opposite reaction.
- The same force Kelsey uses to get to land causes the boat to go further in the water using the same force.
