- My name is Paul Walker im supposed to be going to a car-meet but im kinda tired and out of energy so im heading down to the deli and grabbing some grub before i leave.
- Hopefully Cellular respiration can break down the glucose in my Ramen and give me energy for this car meet.
- Whats up guys sick cars did you know that this oak tree behind me gets energy from the sun and is called photosynthesis.
- Dude thats crazy I did not know that so what about those pigments that are on plants?
- Now those pigments are called Chlorophyll there main job is to obtain light energy as you see in this Oak tree, Now boys with our body's as we are walking around this carmeet looking at cars our bodys are releasing Chlorophyll.
- Ok i got one for you my gym trainer that i go to talks about Lactic Acid what does that mean smarty pants?
- Well its funny you asked because i was just at the gym last night that's why i was so tired earlier, but lactic acid is when yo running for example and your legs are getting lots of blood flow and this build up and becomes bacteria in the absence of oxygen
- Oh ok kinda like ATP?
- No no no ATP is kinda like putting gas is your car the gas is the energy and when your driving the gas is released
- Yes that would because with oil you put it in your engine and it acts sort of like a energy compound that last for roughly 3,000-5000 miles until its time for a new oil change
- So wouldn't that make oil a major component by lubricating the engine and making it run healthy
