  • You can write a Compound sentence in two ways. 1. After you combine your two simple sentences, you can proceed to put a semi-colon in between them2. The FANBOYS method. If there is a: For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet and So in between the sentences, you have just made a compound sentence.
