- There was once a young man named Federico. He lived in Florence, Italy, He was famous he was a good fighter. One day he fell in love with a lady named Monna Giovanna, So he spent all of his money to try to impress her, But she didn't notice him. So now hes broke but he owns farm, he has barelyenough money for him and a falcon, one of the best in the world
- Fred and his falcon live in the farm, the falcon is taught to catch food. Monna lives near by, she has a Son and a Sick husband who just died. Monna son and Fred hunt together
- Monna son then becomes sick and wants Freds Falcon to feel better. So Monna then makes a plan to get the falcon, she is going to go and eat dinner with him and ask hi, if she can have the falcon for his son
- Fred doesnt know what to cook for the dinner he has no food to serve. He sees his falcon and grabs it and then kills it for there dinner and then sends it to get roasted
- So then they ate the falcon and Monna doesnt know what shes eating. Then when they are done Monna asks Fred for his falcon and Fred starts to cry because He cant do that, Monna gets mad at him for doing that but then realizes that he'd do that for her, she thanls him for the meal and leaves
- Monna son later dies, Monna gets Sons money so shes rich, Monna's brother say that she should get married again, she is still young, She doesnt want to marry anyone but then remembers Fred and decides to marry him
