- I have saved some historical documents.
- The Burning of Washington, D.C., occurred on August 24, 1814. The Burning was a retaliation for the American attack on York (modern-day Toronto), which had taken place earlier in the war. The british has to leave because of a tornado that was hitting the area which saved DC.
- We won! 2000 british were killed.
- Battle of New Orleans - On January 8 1815, the British army invaded the city of New Orleans. Andrew Jackson assembled a last-minute militia that included Native Americans, pirates, freed African Americans, and ordinary citizens to defend the city. Jackson won the battle and becomes a war hero

- Battle of Ft. McHenry - The battle started on Sept. 13 1814 at the U.S. Fort Mchenry near baltimore. The American fort that guarded Baltimore harbor, was bombarded for 27 hours straight. The attack failed, and On the mourning of September 14th, the U.S. flag still flew above Ft. McHenry. (this inspired Francis Scott Key to write the Star Spangled Banner)
