- Hello, my name is George the giraffe. Today I will help you understand Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection of the giraffe.

- There are many different types of giraffes like - the Masia giraffes, the Northern giraffes, and the Southern giraffes.
- Adaption
- The shorter giraffes struggle more than the taller giraffes when it comes to food. Since the taller giraffes are taller they will get food other animals except taller giraffes can't get. But the shorter giraffes will sometimes have to starve because animals that are not tall will also want the food which is low. So the shorter giraffes struggle more.
- Natural Selection
- Giraffes have adapted to their environment by evolving with a longer neck. With a longer neck, giraffes don't have to compete with other animals for food.Except it's kind of tall giraffes.
- The giraffe has originated from many different forms of animals including okapis. An okapi is a have of zebra and giraffe.
- Over time the smaller giraffes will die off and the new offspring will be adapted to the environment with longer necks and being taller than the last generation that has died.
