- Exposition
- The EXPOSITION is the beginning of the story. It introduces the character(s), the setting, and the conflict of the story. Your job is to write 3 sentences explaining your story's exposition.
- The RISING ACTION is the part of a story where the tension begins to increase. It is not the most exciting or dramatic part of the story, but things start to get interesting. Your job is to write 3 sentences explaining your story's rising action.

- The CLIMAX is the highest point of tension or excitement in a story. It is the TURNING POINT when things drastically change. Your job is to write 3 sentences explaining the climax
- Literary Element
- The literary element you will have depends on the story you choose for the project
- The FALLING ACTION is anything that occurs between the climax and the resolution. Sometimes, this is when the tension begins to die down or the conflict begins to get resolved. Your job is to write 3 sentences explaining your story's falling action
