The French and Indian war started and France wanted to expand their land into the Ohio river valley. But the British were not happy with that. The British finally declared war in 1756.

The stamp act was enforced by the British parliament to get themselves out of severe dept from the seven years war. American colonists insisted that the act was unconstitutional.
The Boston massacre of 1770
The quartering act was passed by the parliament to the colonies stating that colonies must provide housing for the British.
The Townshend act was a series of taxation's on goods passed by the British on American colonists. American called it an abuse of power and tension began to rise between the two.
The colonists did not want to pay tax without representation which made tension's rise between them. The colonists became a mop and the red coats fired their guns at them.
