- The redhead Cherry.
- I'm turning myself in its not fair to Ponyboy.
- What!! Why would you do that?
- I'm sorry for yelling. I don't want you to get hurt
- Dallas explains to Ponyboy and Johnny that they have a spy. He says that they spy is a soc, then he reveals that the spy is Cherry the soc that Ponyboy and Johnny had met while at the drive in movie.
- A FIRE!
- While a three Ponyboy,Johnny, and Dally are in the car eating ice cream sundaes, Johnny says something unexpected. He tells Dally and Ponyboy that he is going to turn himslef in to the police, Dallas doesn't take it very well.
- There in the other ambulance
- Where's Johnny and Dally.
- In this scene you get to see a side of Dally that you don't see very often throughout the story. He apologizes to Johnny for how he reacted. He told him he just doesn't want Johnny to get hurt.
- Your hair, Your towheaded now.
- After the ice cream when they get back to the church and its on fire. When Ponyboy sees the fire he assumes that it was him and Johnny that had started it. He hears kids inside the church and runs inside to save them Johnny following right behind. Then is knocked out by Dally.
- Get back in the car.
- Ponyboy is inside an ambulance with the man from the fire. He keeps asking questions about Johnny and Dally, the man assures him that they are going to be fine that they are in the other ambulance. He learns the reason Dally hit him was because his back was on fire.
- Ponyboy is in the waiting room of the hospital when he see's his brothers. He runs and gives Soda-pop a hug, when he see's Darry he is crying. Ponyboy learns that everything that Darry does is to help him and that he does love him.
