- Claudette and her classmates are walking to the bus from school, and they give the bus driver their pink coupons for bus ride to be half off.
- get up!
- Get up, gal!
- Claudette and her classmates sat in the front of the bus near the exit because there were no whites near were they were they were sitting.
- come over here and make an arrest she's over here!
- A motorman and two white ladies on the bus told Claudette and the people she was sitting with to get out of the seat so they could sit down but Claudette refused to get up while the people she was sitting next to got up.
- no, it's my constitutional right to sit here!
- GET UP!
- the white gets really mad at claudette and tells the bus driver, when the bus driver heard about the arguement he 0......................`..0The white lady and the motorman continued to stand up until Claudette would get up and the bus driver screamed for Claudette to get up, but she still refused.
- The bus driver proceeds to stop the bus and yells to the transport officers to come to the bus and make an arrest and the uniformed cops walk on to the bus talk to Claudette.
- After the cops came on the bus and tell her to get out of her seat, Claudette still refused to get up so one of the cops grabbed her hand while the other cop did the same pulling her out of her seat.
