- The relationship between human beings and the natural world is called human-environment interaction.
- The way we modify our environment, like buildings shops and stores, to fit all of our needs is an example of HEI
- Or when we depend on our environment for natural resources like oil, dirt, gas and more
- We can also adapt to the environments weather by wearing less clothing during warmer times and more clothing during colder times. BRRRR!
- Another example of human modification is deforestation. Deforestation is the removal of trees for something other than a forest, like an amusement park or a big neighborhood.
- Humans also adapt to things like extreme weather. When hurricanes come people go indoors to stay safe.
