- I wanted to do a bit more research on the careers a bit before i become fully invested into one, so I decided to look some up online on a website called https://www.k12jobspot.com/ for more information.
- I am going to go interview Mr. Johnson down the street to see the past experiences he had as a software designer to see what he does on a daily basis and if it is interesting to him.
- The main character starts off by using a printed resource in a news article where he finds a job wanting for a career he has an interest in.
- Hello Mr. Johnson, I wanted to talk to you about... um...
- He then tries to find more information about the career finding a career search website where he can learn more about the job and the things that they do.
- Thank you very much Mr. Johnson. This was a big help with my journey in finding the right career for me. I think I am interested in this career.
- We design, develop, and test a lot of the software that is designed for certain pieces of technology like phones and computers. We are always changing and adapting to this software to make it the best as possible
- Later, he decides to interview a neighbor who happened to have a similar if not the same career path that he is interested in so he can get more knowledge on the career from a personal standpoint and if the career as an IT Manager is interesting on a day-to-day basis.
- Yes, they helped a lot. I think that the interview helped more than the others because it gave me serious examples of what we do. It gave me a personal connection to the experiences faced throughout the job.

- The main character DID make himself look presentable, but what he didn't do was organize his information or questions onto a piece of paper or something similar. The main character is also getting distracted in which he doesn't speak fluently or with confidence.
- The main character eventually gets the information he needs about the career path he wants to take, and decides that he is interested in becoming an Application software develop.
- The Networking example that the character tried with the interview was the most helpful because it made the most impact on his opinion to invest time and interest in the career because he now had knowledge of what they do in the job from a trusted reference in the neighbor who took path in the same career.
