- Jack takes the boys to hunting the pig

- Ralph see smoke in the horizon

- The little ones were playing in the sand when Roger and Maurice destroyed their sand castle. Then Henry went to play by the sea, and Roger, hiding behind a palm tree, started throwing rocks at him.
- Jack paints his face red, white and black to camouflage himself and go on a pig hunt with the twins, Roger and Bill.
- There's a discussion between Jack and Ralph
- You let the fire go out. There was a ship
- You and your hunting! We might have gone home
- Trying to ignore Piggy, Ralph looks over the horizon of the sea and in the distance he sees the smoke of a ship
- Jack hit piggy and broke his glasses

- Piggy looks up the mountain to see if the smoke signal is still there. But seeing nothing, he tells the boys and they run out to turn it on again.

- Jack and the boys return very happy that they killed the pig, but Ralph and Piggy yell at Jack for neglecting the fire.

- Piggy's words and the whimpering of the other boys made Jack violent, and he hit Piggy.
