- Hey, Mr. Washington! I was the 44th president of the United States, Barack Obama, and I belong to the democratic party!
- We've had political parties since the 1800s. It isn't a new thing that happened recently. The parties have changed over the years but we've had them for a while.
- Yes. There are democrats and republicans, those are our two political parties.
- Still, there should never have been any political parties! Did you not pay attention to what the founders of this country wanted? Do you not care?
- Wait, as in a political party?
- I never wanted this country to have political parties! Why would you do this? Political parties split the country!
- Well, I tried to form alliances with some of the countries in Europe. They are good allies to have; plus, some are very strong.
- I know the history we have, however, having some European countries on our side makes negotitions easier, especially when I made a treaty with Russia during my presidency.
- I believed it was good to have alliances with Europe, having strong allies is key to having a strong country. Plus, I became president in the middle of two wars.
- Look, a treaty is fine but we shouldn't interfere so much with Europe.
- Do you understand the history we have with Europe?! We shouldn't have them as permanent allies!
- Well, while you were president, how was our relationship with Europe?
- Well, I tried to pull troops out as fast as possible during the Iraq war and raised troops
- How did you act during these wars?
