Hey Dalilah! I never knew that! Did you know that the Great Pyramid is the largest pyramid in Egypt? It is 481 feet tall. It is also estimated to have 2.3 million stone blocks. What else do you know?
Hey Khalid! Did you know that our ancestors used math and science to help build these pyramids? They used the Pythagorean Theorem and simple algebra while also measuring each angle of each direction to ensure that every pyramid was facing north, east, south, and west.
The Nile River provides so much for us Egyptians such as, fertile soil and water for irrigation and transporting materials for building projects.
That's neat! So, that's why they were able to build the pyramids! Makes more sense now. Did you also know that the Nile River has an annual flooding, so we have to cope with that. However, the Nile provides us with so much farmland to help our Egyptian Civilization develop in the desert.
Before we go, did you also know that the Pharaoh in Egypt makes the laws, wages war, collects taxes, and oversees the entire land of Egypt that we live in?
Wow! He does a lot then! I also know that the pharaoh is looked at as a god by his people in Egypt. The people worship him and gives him offerings. We have went over a lot today about Ancient Egypt. I cannot wait to talk with you again about Ancient Egypt!
