- they are having a conversation about the food and how she let the servers have that day off, she also mentions that she will give him food from home so he doesn't have to waste money on food from a restaurant.

- Jim and Della are walking thru stores seeing what they are going to get each other for christmas. Jim sees a comb that Della really likes and telling her how good she would look in it
- Falling action
- is he still going to love me
- after she drops off her husband Jim off at work she goes to the meet market to get food for later for her and jim about 2 pounds,this is when she got the idea to buy a watch holder for jim n after she gets the meat she rushes home to see how much money she has.
- Resulution
- I sold my watch!!!

- Della goes into the barder shop to sell her hair so she can have enough to buy jim's present but he offers her 20 and she need 22.50$ for Jim's gift she ask him to go higher but he says no so she tell him to cut it before she changes her mind.
- Della gets home ad then she starts to think if jim would still love her but she starts turning off all the lights so he doesn't have to see her. When jim gets home Della shouts for him to leave t off but he doesn't listen after he sees her he looked worried because of the gift that he got her.but he let her know that he still loves her no matter what.
- Jim gets home from work excited to show his gift to Della but It turns out that she sold her hair.and then when Della tries to give him his gift he also lets her know that he sold the watch and that they are gonna have to put there gifts away for a little because they are nice and then they hug it out and start laughing about it.
