- Jay, You did so well on your chapter test.
- Jay moved in with his grandparents, Ben and Maria after his parents passed away in a car accident. Jay did not know this until his grandparents broke the tragic new to him. He is very upset and does not know what he is going to do.
- Jay used to be such a bright student, until the tragedy that occurred with him. He never missed school, completed all his assignments, and did so well, until he lost his parents. His life did a complete U-turn and now he does not want to go to school, do any of his assignments, and is starting to do very bad. His teachers have been very worried about him. His grandparents are very worried as well, and they do not know how to make him feel better.
- Ben and Maria then thought about getting Jay a dog that he's been wanting for years. They knew that would make him feel better. Max changed Jays life. Jay started feeling much better and started to get back to being his normal self again. Jay started doing better in school to.
