- Tell me about you and your business.
- Wow cool!
- I’m a sole proprietor, and I run my business all by myself. It’s very easy management, I get all the profit, and I just love owning my own business. But it really does suck to have unlimited liability and it’s hard to find people to work for me.
- I actually run a nonprofit organization for women in need. It sounds bad , but it’s not, but I take advantage of a corporations unlimited life and limited liability. I also seek no financial gain, I just wanna help women.
- Hey what do you do?
- I’m actually one half of a partnership. My partner though is just a limited partner meaning he helps with financing my business while I do most of the managing. Start-up is an ease, it’s easy management, I don’t get special taxes, and its easy to attract skilled worker. Sometimes I just have be careful with my partner, not to get into conflicts and making sure we are both in line so the other doesn’t take the fall for someone only one of us did.

- Wow there are so many great business choices to work with.
- I run my business as a corporation. I am recognized by the law as separate legal entity, I receive a charter or government permission to create my corporation, but sometimes that can be expensive, it’s easy to raise capital,I don’t always have to run everything I have shareholders for that and it’s easy to transfer ownership. My corporation is actually apart of a conglomerate where I’ve merged my company with other unrelated companies.
- So how do you run your business?
- Wow how will I ever choose how to start and operate my company!?
