Bill Weaver arrives in Bath from London at 9 p.m. and asks where to stay. He heads to the Bell and Dragon.
Climax
Weaver notices the "Bed and Breakfast" sign in a motel window. It seems to draw him in because the price the was nice and the building looked inviting, so he rings the doorbell.
Falling Action
The Landlady Lets him in and she takes him to his room. She then invites him downstairs to sign the book and drink tea.
Resolution
Bill goes to sign the guest book and sees two familiar names. He asks the landlady about them
She ignores his questions and talks about all three of them were so similar. She then moves on and talks about her stuffed pets. Weaver smells chemicals on the landlady.
He deeply admires her work then smells the almonds again. We can infer that the lady stuffed the two similar men and will poison then stuff Weaver as well.
