- Good day, ma'am. The result of your laboratory is now released. The cause of your stomach ache is ulcer. The doctor will come here to see you and will give you medication for your illness. You can press the button alarm if you need something and I will provide it for you. Everything will be alright ma'am.
- The nurse started to establish rapport to his patient. He responded and answer all the questions of his patient. He also explained and informed the patient what is the procedure she will undergo which is the laboratory test. This situation still in a Orientation Phase.
- I feel better now. I'll go home. Thank you for accommodating me!
- It is nice to hear it from you, ma'am. Take care always and follow the Doctor's instructions to you.
- In this scenario, The patient started to feel comfort and relief. The worry and anxious she's feeling before is now decrease and began to feel safeness. This scenario shows Identification Phase in Peplau's Theory.
- In this scenario, Nurse-Patient Relationship already established. The nurse informed the patient about her illness and the cause of her stomach ache and it is Ulcer. For instance, the Nurse clearly explained to his patient what will be the next procedure and it is medication. The Nurse also informed his patient that she can call the nurse by pressing the alarm button at her back if needed something. Lastly, before the Nurse end the conversation he also reminded the patient that everything will be alright. This scenario shows Exploitation Phase.
- The patient will have a medication and will go through healing treatment.
- This scenario shows Resolution Phase in Peplau's Theory. This is the phase where the patient already met her medical needs and recover from the illness because of the collaborative Nurse-Patient Relationship. This is also the termination of professional relationship.
- After the healing process and treatment the patient already met her medical needs and finally recover to her illness.
