- Good morning class! Today we are going to be learning all about independent, dependent and control variables!
- Oooo a grilled cheese so good wait what are we talking about!
- Well lets start with independent variable is one thing that changes on purpose. And dependent variable is something that changes because of the independent variable.
- OMG that is a lot of information but i think i understand
- My dad told me about that a few night ago so i will stop talking!
- Well for example you want to know which Popsicle could melt faster so the control variable could be the brand, temperature.. etc
- Im confused
- Wait were not done we still have to cover control variables. Control variables is something you can control in the experiment
- could you give us an example?
- Ok were gonna take theese plants and put it on the window for 1 week and we will see how it looks.

- the control variable is the location and the type of plant

- well the independent variable is the amount of water it gets. And the dependent variable is how much the plant grows
- it was so fun!
