- Malcolm found a friend named Bambi! he was well-educated and ended up being very nice to Malcolm and even helped him with skills that everyone should have. Malcolm needed his help to learn how to read. so Bambi helped and encouraged him
- One day, Malcolm found out about the teachings of the Nation of Islam. He became interested in learning about Islam, and started reading books about the religion. Bimbi was helpful to Malcolm and helped him study.
- malcolm was a young man who made some mistakes in life and ended up being punished for his actions! he was placed in jail and he felt lonely and embarrassed and he really needed a friend.
- The other prisoners and guards did not like how Malcolm was getting education and didn't like his new beliefs but Malcolm didn't let that get in his way though he had a lot of dedication.
- Malcolm had to think about what he was going to do. he had a hard time making a choice. he knew his new belief could get him into trouble but he also knew that he should follow his heart.
- Malcolm chose to believe in Islam! and he finally felt at peace.
- He continued to read and learn, and as timed passed he became a powerful civil rights leader who fought for black pride and self-determination. Malcolm's faith changed him and he knew it changed the world too
