- This was the battle in Brooklyn, New York. The British only had less than 300 killed, but the colonists had over 1,000 killed. The colnists were outnumbered and had little to no training.
- Battle of Trenton
- The British won this battle and the colonists lost. They had no choice but to retreat from Brooklyn, otherwise Washington would have gotten captured. If that happened, the army would have had no leader.

- This battle gave the colonists hope and it gave the colonists a small win on their side. What they did was they went to trenton and supriesed the British after Christmas.

- This battle gave the conolists a real win. They defeated the British.This battle even brung the French in to help win the battle.
