- Hi! I'm Terry. I like cheese and cherries. I'd like to tell jokes, but the other people at my school are scary.

- There's a bully at school, his name is Gary. At lunch, he calls me Hairy Terry. The kids all laugh and it makes me sad, his jokes just make fun of me, of how I smell bad and how I'm not rad.
- But today after a rainy recess, I did something weird. Something so daring that I had always feared.It was slippery and we were sliding across the wet playground, and I was shaking. Because then I said,
- This is now my favorite sport. It's called Mice-Skating!
- The kids all laughed! I felt so cool. For once, I was seen at my school.A moment so short and sweet,Seemed like forever on that slippery concrete.
- Now with friends, life wasn't as scary. But even with friends, there was still Gary.The insults were still coming, with jokes always cracking.But now, no one was laughing.
- Because being funny is harder to doThan making fun of people that are different than you.Because that will tear them down and makes them sad,And you could make their life really, really bad.
