- The Persian empire had very skilled strategies to help them take over a lot of land. And so the Persian empire had taken over Athens

- The Persians had launched 2 major attacks on Greece. But Greece had fought and won triumphly despite Persia's strength and strategy. Persia unified the Greek city-states after winning the war.

- Athens had ruled over many Greek city-states. They kept on taking surrounding land. When Greece proposed that Athens free the Greek city-states, Athens said no, and that's how the Peloponessian war started.

- Athens had been abusing the Delian Leauge and the Greek-city states didn't like that. Greece invaded Athens and burned downa city. The Plauge inside the Persian civilization had weakened Persia in the battle. They had lost their leader and soon enough, the lost the battle.
- Alexander had decided to come home to celebrate his victory. Once he came home, he became sick. It was just the common flu, but he eventually died. The end of Macedonia came as Alexander was not there with his wisdom and strength
- We will soon leave to go to the central of Issus and take over the land. Be ready for king Darius to come and declare war.
