- It was the time of industrial revolution in Europe and the British brought the buildings there to India to make their work easier and to do their work easier and faster. But they would not do all of these with their own money. They further colonized the people of India and forced them to live under difficult conditions and they started to build these buildings with the money they obtained from the public which also they succeded with that plan.

When World War 1 began, The British army forced the Indian citizens to become soldier, resulting in loss of many lives. This further put a burden on the Indian population, because of increased taxation and and casualties.
