- During a Volcanic Eruption, millions of tons of sulfur dioxide and ash particles can go into the atmosphere. The particles can stay in the stratosphere for as long as 3-4 years.
- Cause: Volcanic Eruption
- The Combustion of Fossil Fuels can lead to a large amount of carbon dioxide being released into the air. Carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas can trap heat in the atmosphere, increasing temperatures that can have lasting effects such as rising sea levels. 
- Cause: Combustion of Fossil Fuels
- Deforestation has been an effective strategy to create land used for agriculture. This can lead to an increase of Co2 released as when trees are chopped down, the Co2 inside them are then released into the atmosphere.

- Cause: Deforestation
- Effect: Melting of Polar Ice Caps, Glaciers. This can effect wildlife as temperatures increase, they will have to migrate north. It can also be a causing reason of sea levels rising, endangering humans and their homes.
- Effects on Humans:As combustion is occuring, many harmful pollutants and Co2 are released. These pollutants can take a toll on human health causing sicknesses such as Pneumonia, Bronchitis and many more. Children and elderly people are more susceptible as they have weaker immune systems. 
- Effect: Consequences to Living OrganismsAs deforestation takes place, it can harm wildlife as their homes can be destroyed. Also, with the release of Co2 from the trees, it can cause animals to die, such as the Moose in Canada with ticks. The moose try to rub them off, ripping the fur off and causing death from hypothermia.
