- In here we can see our expository, where we meet Stella and her husband Stanley living in New Orleans in their humble apartment. Blanche (Stella's sister) arrives with totally different vibes and lifestyles that Stella and Stanley can't relate to. This creates tension because of the contrast of the 2 worlds. In here we can also see the how Blanche is a women who likes social status (the way she dresses compared to others) and Stanley is a controlling and powerful man (the way he is holding Stella), this both personalities crash with each other creating hate.

- Our first rising action happens on the Poker Night, when Stanley and his friends are playing but he is losing. He starts getting annoyed, explodes and hits Stella! Stella leaves with Blanche upstairs to Eunice and moments later we see Stanley begging for Stella. They cuddle and forgive each other; however Blanche doesn't like Stanleys attitude at all and tells Stella that Stanley is a bad person; what she doesn't know is that Stanley has heard everything bad that she has said about him.
- Stanley is crazy! We need to get out of here Stella.

- In our 2nd rising action we see how Mitch (Stanleys friend) and Blanche become romantic with each other, Blanche starts telling Mitch about her past and how she was an English teacher and that she left work because she needed a break. She also told him about her past husband that was having an affair with another man, and that sadly he ended up killing himself because she told him that he disgusted her. Mitch tells Blanche that they need each other and they end up kissing.
