What do you think you were doing back there soldier? We could have lost more men because of your actions!
We are doing this for our country! This is not a game you. You cannot just make that decision in the middle of the war! Do you want more of your fellow soldiers to get killed? You knew how this hard this was going to be before joining so man up and do your job!
Sir, I apologize, sir.But I could not get myself to take the life of another man.
now go back and train more for tomorrow!
i really don't think I can do this
Kill, Kill, kill!!!
Remember guys, if you don't want to get shot you have to shoot first.
The soldier was in his first mission and got sent out to the frontlines to combat the enemies when he realized he could not get himself to kill another man
that night, after their skirmish, his captain confronted him for his behavior and actions during an important moment.
I understand that this is hard and the things we do might not be morally correct. but ultimately we are doing this for the country and all the families that can't defend themselves.
Okay then, I will tell you this in advance though. The process hard and you might regret it
With all due respect sir, but I don't believe we are doing this for the people of our country, we are doing this for material gain and this goes against my principles.
Sir. I don't believe that what we are doing is right. All of this goes against my beliefs and principles. It is not just hurting others, it is the war as a whole. So I would like to request conscientious objector status
During training he starts to realize that what they are doing is wrong
Before going to sleep, he deeply thinks about the war and how it conflicts with his ideologies and reconsiders being a frontline soldier.
Am I even doing this for the right cause? Are we fighting the war to protect our people or because we want their resources?
Either way, all this is wrong. All this killing just goes against all moral and ethic beliefs.
The next day, he explains to his captain his beliefs and requests conscientious objector status.
After being interviewed and approved by the chain of command that his beliefs were against any and all wars, he was given the conscientious objector status and was allowed to work as a mechanic for the military.
