- Squeaky is a young girl committed to her running and lives in New York City. She has to take care of her older brother Raymond, who has a disability.
- Climax
- Squeaky runs into Gretchen and her friends which leads to an argument about who shall win the Mayday race
- Falling Action
- Squeaky sticks up for Raymond when the girls make snide remarks. She is determined to beat her new Gretchen at the May Day races.
- Resolution
- She is in the race and she sees Gretchen and she knows she's beating her but she also notices Raymond can run too
- Whoa Raymond can run to?
- She had just finished the race and is hearing the results and she's thinking about coaching Raymond
- Maybe Gretchen can help me coach Raymond
- She is viewing Gretchen differently and wants to coach Raymond and let Gretchen help her. The lesson learned is accepting yourself for who you are and accepting others too.
