  • Hello everyone, my name is Andres Felipe, student of administrative management, I will talk to you about soft skills and hard skills.
  • Soft skills are the social competencies that are only acquired in daily life and that allow people to integrate successfully in work environments. they are very important in a company because they help to improve coexistence.
  • Hard skills are the skills required to perform a given task, and are acquired through training and education, or can be learned on the job. Some examples would be:Web programming. Accounting skills. Language skills. Oral expression. Graphic design.
  • Detecting them during the recruitment and selection process will be key to finding not only the most suitable candidate for the position, but also the one most in line with our organizational culture and the work team of which he/she will be a part.that is why measuring soft skills is very important, this is done with human resources tests.
  • One of the best ways to find out if candidates have the skills needed to perform specific tasks is to ask directly how they have used those skills in the past. This will help us assess the hard skills in people.
