  • This is the story of my fall from the skies. I precipitate landing in the Darling River as it begins to rain on a dreary, gloomy day. The long river was rushing past Wentworth, where it meets the Murray. I turn north-east, heading for Pooncarie.
  • I didn't stay there for long, so I went on with the journey. I go north to Menindee. I came to a halt in the middle of River Darling. The river had dried up. I overhear Menindee residents debating the government's role in exacerbating the drought by diverting river water for irrigation.
  • I waited for days and days just for the rain to come falling down and refill the dry part of the river. The more I waited, the more could I feel myself starting to evaporate. I prayed and finally the Lord has praised me with few raindrops, enough for me to start flowing.
  • I go pass Willcannia, where it is known for their many river ports and boats. One of the boats engine was able to push me far enough to Tilpa! There wasn't much things to do in Tilpa nor Louth because they were so similar, due to their fishing addiction.
  • I had 3 more stops before my journey ends and I start the water cycle all over again. Many tourist came and visited Bourke, same with Brewarrina. I go east to make my final stop at Walgett. It sure was a long journey but I enjoyed it, since I will have to do this again.
  • It took me at least a week or 2 to get to Walgett where I settle there waiting for my turn to evaporate. I had finally made it, I didn't know whether I was happy or sad that this voyage ended, but it was time, as I evaporated and transported up in the clouds. Next stop, The Murray River!
