- The Indus Valley is located along the banks of the Indus River that begins in the Himalayan mountains and ends at the Arabian Sea.
- Welcome to Mohenjo-Daro! The Indus River civilization existed 500 years ago in the modern countries of Pakistan and northern India.
- The main streets are almost 10 meters wide - wide enough for two bullock carts or elephants to pass each other.

- Streets are laid out in a grid and it was home to 35,000 people. We are divided by the rich and poor people.

- In our bathrooms we stand on a brick shower tray and we tip the clean water over ourselves from a jar.
- Trading is very important to us because if we don't grow wheat here we can trade our flour for someone else's wheat!
- I am an archaeologist and I think that the Indus traders might have used seals like labels, to show who owned a sack of grain, or that the correct city tax had been paid.

- This is the Great Bath! We use it for our religious rituals or if it's a hot day, too cool off.
