Yeah! I would love to hear about the U.S. government.
Hey there do you wanna learn about U.S. government?
First the constitution outlines the structure of the government and the rights each person should have.
Whoa, it does all of that!
That not all! There are also three branches of the U.S. Government. There is the judicial branch, Executive branch, and the Legislative branch. These three branches. They all have an important roll in the country for example the Legislative branch drafts laws, the Judaical branch decided if they violate the constitution, and the Executive branch carries out these laws.
Wow, I had no idea!
Next is the Electoral College. The Electoral College is what elects the next President and Vice President. Each one has a different number of votes. The reason for this is because they are destined to better represent each population of a state so smaller states can have a voice in the presidential election.
Well I'm glad that all states have a voice.
Of course not you are able to vote for either side, you do not have to be in the same party.
Last but not least is political party. In the United States there are two major political party. Each party has different views so its important when voting you choose someone that you think have the best views. These party can have a very different impact on the country because on party thinks on way is better but the other party thinks differently
Wow, does that mean I can only vote for the party I'm in.
I do actually do mind if you could answer any about the electoral college
Yeah there is a lot that goes into our government, just let me know if you have any questions
