- Hi John! That new beer I mentioned last week is packaged and ready for delivery.
- Great! The only problem is I still don't have room to accept it yet but I don't want to miss out. Can you reserve one?
- Navigation within the app
- No problem. This particular beer can be allocated. I just need to set the reserve request and send it off to logistics from your account profile.
- Easy! Remember how hard it was before? You'd have to send five different emails to 10 different people in four different departments and wait for approval!
- Our sales rep arrives at the next stop on his route as scheduled from his calendar. He expands the specific account information folder from the sales app.
- Dynamic information architecture
- Our sales rep makes contact with the bar manager to take his order (if needed) and pitch a new beer that just made its way from production to the warehouse.
- Input error and remediation
- Uh oh! I can't process your order because a previous delivery has gone unpaid past net 30. If you have a check, I can deposit it directly from the app to get you current.
- Our sales rep now has the ability to make one-time or repeated service adjustments within the account profile and have the request routed to the appropriate department(s)
- Process engineering and automation
- Our sales rep now can pull archived data from various departments to answer common queries such as current and past billing issues, past orders and deliveries, and open and fulfilled service tickets.
- Functionality includes error notification and remediation steps, payment processing with an ecommerce plugin, and camera or background app synthesis.
- Pull up the invoice in question and the read receipt from the invoice email and I'll cut a check right now.
- Errors were remedied, payment was submitted, order was submitted, various departments (finance, logistics, management) were all notified, calendars and schedules were updated, and data was pushed to the database for report building, etc all from the app.
