- A few days after, Jane receives the heartbreaking and shocking news that Mr. Bingley and Darcy returned back to London.
- WHAT!?
- We are not rich enough or grand enough for them.
- Then, Mr. Collins proposes to Charlotte, Elizabeth's close friend. Elizabeth is left completely shocked and disappointed by Charlotte's agreement to marry such a ridiculous man.
- You have got to be kidding me! Mr. Collins? Why Charlotte! That ridiculous man! He will never make you happy!
- I am not romantic, you know; I never was
- One day, Elizabeth decides to go visit charlotte at her new home. While visiting charlotte and Mr. Collins, Elizabeth runs into Darcy. He unexpectedly declares his love for Elizabeth, but she completely turns him down.
- You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.
- I had not known you a month before I felt that you were the last man in the world whom I could ever be prevailed on to marry.
- Darcy leaves respecting Elizabeth's decision, however, Elizabeth then receives a letter from Darcy. The letter cleared up all of the misjudgments and misconceptions she had of him. Elizabeth starts softening her heart for him
- Oh, gosh! I have been wrong all along!
- My life is none of your concern!
- A while after this, Darcy's sassy and rude aunt pays Elizabeth a very unexpectedly and mysterious visit. She asks Elizabeth to swear to never marry Darcy, and makes sure to let her know how headstrong she is. She also goes on to humiliate her, and shame her.
- Obstinate, headstrong Girl!
- You will not ruin a life long plan!
- Soon after that, Darcy proposes for the second time to Elizabeth, and this time Elizabeth accepts, knowing that she has finally learned to love Darcy. She is also very grateful for everything Darcy did for her family, and she sees the good in him. Jane also ends up marrying Mr. Bingley.
- How come you admire me after I have been so rude?
- I admired you for the liveliness of your mind!
