- Hello, my name is Alberto and today we are going to travel back in time to discover the history of the Mongol Empire, GO!
- Before we go, I'm going to tell you some facts about the Mongol Empire.
- The Mongol Empire existed from 1206 to 1368. It was one of the largest empires in history and was famous for its powerful and strong warriors and reached 24,000,000 km², conquering from the Korean Peninsula to the Danube River. The time machine is ready, come on.
- At first they lived in the Asian steppes and were nomadic people who moved according to the seasons. They also herded animals such as sheep, goats, horses, and camels.

- But all this changed with the arrival of Temujin, called Genghis Khan. Temujin was able to unite all the Mongols and earn their respect, also through diplomacy, war and terror Temujin managed to defeat all his enemies and in 1206 they named him the Great Khan.

- After Genghis was named Great Khan, the conquest began in the north of what would now be China and thus, little by little, its territory expanded.
- But in the year 1227 The Great Khan dies of an unknown disease and this causes the Empire to be divided among his 4 sons but continues to function as a unified Empire
- The third son, Ogodei was named as the new Great Khan and helps the Empire continue to grow in Central Asia. He also happens with the Grandson of Genghiscan only that the grandson managed to conquer all of China.

- Khan's grandson also promoted trade, implemented paper money and improved the road system.
- The decline began as each reign so to speak began to have its own problems causing one by one to fall until the last one which was the Khanate of the Great Khan.
- The Mongols left custody of the silk route as a legacy by offering protection to ambassadors, merchants, travelers, etc... and thanks to taking care of the silk route they allowed inventions such as the printing press, the compass, paper or gunpowder will arrive in Europe
