- WE ARE THE CONTRIBUTORS OF CELL THEORY
- I'm Matthias Jacob Schleiden a German botanist who, with Theodor Schwann, cofounded the cell theory. In 1838 I defined the cell as the basic unit of plant structure, and a year later Schwann defined the cell as the basic unit of animal structure.
- Robert Brown.I published my research findings and gave speeches. I discovered the nucleus and its role helped to put together the cell theory, which states that all living organisms are composed of cells, and cells come from pre-existing cells. My discovery helped to confirm the second half of the cell theory.
- I'm Theodor Schwann demonstrated the same fact for animal tissues, and in 1839 I concluded that all tissues are made up of cells: this laid the foundations for the cell theory.
- Rudolf Virchow.I used the theory that all cells arise from pre-existing cells to lay the groundwork for cellular pathology, or the study of disease at the cellular level. My work made it more clear that diseases occur at the cellular level. My work led to scientists being able to diagnose diseases more accurately.
- English scientist. Robert Hooke published Micrographia in 1665. In it, I illustrated the smallest complete parts of an organism, which I called cells. theory that all organisms are made of cells, which are the basic structural units of life.
