- When I walk in I will make sure to properly wash my hands and then put on my size of gloves before examining her.
- Goodmorning, today we will be taking care of Alex a 15 year old girl with a heart murmur. When we get in the room dont forget to put your gloves on before you touch her.
- After I finish taking care of the needle I will rewash my hands and put new gloves on so I can examine Alex after I finish I will take my gloves off and throw them away and then wash my hands again.
- It looks like someone didn't properly dispose the needle the last time her blood was drawn, how do we handle this physical hazard?
- Let me go make sure the sharp object disposale site isn't full, then I will put some gloves on and dispose of this needle. People should know to throw these things away, they could be dangerous.
- I really appreciate that, I am so fortunate that I am able to be doing these things for people.
