- The sixth amendment say that you have a right to a speedy trial.Why was this made?beacause if justice is delayed justice is denied and what if there was someone innocent just sitting in a jail cell we sometimes want to be fair.
- The 7th amendment ensures that citzens civil cases can be heard and decied by people this is called jury duty.They made this beacause thye wanted to make sure that the goverment would not do away with a trial by jury .
- The 8th amendment says the there will be no cruel or unsual punishments.They made this to try to prevent the goverment from excessively punishing defandents beform and after trial.
- The ninth amendment says that the enumuration in the constitution of sertant rights will not be denyed or be taken away.This helps us beacause it protects all of are other rights and the government cant just throw us in jail
- The 10th amendment says that the powers not gave to the united states by the constitution belongs to no one exept the people .this was made so the goverment wouldnt have to much power and so some of the people could have a piece
