evaluating content
Online give you the option to chat with millions of people around the world but risk come with that. Putting personal information out can lead to theif and inpersonation, so always make sure to think before you post and make accounts private. Only send information over direct messages so no chance of someone screenshoting it or saving it. Not everyone is who they say they are. Always read policys and terms and services. Make sure you trust the links and websites you click.
Rights and literacy
Online has a lot of good things that are helpful and entertaining but it can be addicting and before you know it you have spent half of your day on your phone or stayed up all night watching videos. Also watching what everyone else is doing can make you feel like you're missing out and make you feel stressed so spending time going outside or seeing people in person is better for mental health and well being. put down the phone!!!!!
Online you can express you ideas, thoughts and beliefs. While having that not all information is correct and a lot could be false information. To ensure you are getting quality information check for who it was made by, resources used, and quality. And doing your own research can help pick out false information for what is correct. Clicking bad links can download viruses and even worse.
Uploading videos of songs and videos of you and your friends but with out consent or given credit could get your video taken down because not everyone wants to be posted or have their work taken so it is a big part with content creating. uploading pictures of videos without consent is called copyright and could be fined for a lot of money. so when making videos or posting pictures make sure everything is correct and okay with everyone who is involved.
