- There are several differences among the two rabbit breeds that live in this woodland. The darker one is a dark brown, while the lighter one is a light brown. The dark brown breed is more difficult to notice than the light brown type, and it is more quicker and more athletic.
- Predators have a tougher time catching dark brown rabbits because they are quick and difficult to notice. The light brown bunnies stand out more since they don't mix in. They're also drowsy, move slowly, and have a larger size than the dark brown ones.
- Are there any other phenotype besides colour that tells the two different breeds of rabbit apart?
- One day, a new animal was introduced to the forest. This animal was a predator, and it was a fox. This caused chaos among the rabbits, and caused them all to flee from the fox, since the rabbits were all very alarmed by the new predator.
- Is that an apex predator!?!?!? the poor rabbits...
- Why did the fox attack majority of the lighter rabbits?
- The fox preferred the lighter-colored rabbits because they were bigger and more appealing to him. They were also slower and easier to spot, allowing the fox to easily trap them. Because the darker bunnies were diametrically opposed to the lighter ones, they were able to live.
- Does that mean the darker rabbits can reproduce more offspring ?
- Yes, there were more of them alive because the darker rabbits fared better. Because they transmitted their genes down to their children, those rabbits multiplied and were more frequent, resulting in more dark brown rabbits than light brown rabbits.
- Depending on the environment in which the population lives, being the "fittest" might signify different things.

- Only the darker rabbits, who were the most fitted to the environment, eventually survived in the forest. The fox managed to get the light ones.
