- okay mom Jeffrey doesn't have cancer the doctors were wrong right?
- No Steven your brother is very sick and in pain. 
- ANGER
- my dad is just a sperm donor and my mom is just an egg donor. 
- BARGAINING
- If that bird flies away in under 10 seconds Jeffrey  will be cured 
- Steven was hoping that Jeffery didn't have cancer and that the doctors were wrong. He was in denial.
- DEPRESSION
- Don't ask me why I dumped everything on her, but I did. meanwhile at school I still kept plowing t=along, practicing the drums, writing journals, completely bagging all of my home- work assignments and faking human interaction with people around me. 
- Steven shows anger by calling is parents sprem and egg donors. 
- ACCEPTANCE
- Okay Jeffrey is this going to be frowny or cheery?
- Steven is trying to bargain everything because he wants Jeffrey to get better. 
- SUMMARY
- Steven is depressed because he isn't talking to anyone and he isn't doing his homework. 
- Steven is accepting that his brother has cancer but he is still trying to be happy.
- Hehe! I think frowny!
