- A Jewish man was attacked by a group of robbers who stole everything and left him to die strandad and wounded.
- A priest passed by and saw the stranded man but instead of helping the jewish man was left stranded.
- Oh, no! Poor guy. He isn't my responsibility though!
- A Levite passed by and ignored the man as he insisted that he must not follow God's laws and help His people.
- I'm not going to follow God's law and help His people They should be able to help themselves
- A Samaritan, who at the time were enemies with the Jewish, decided that he needed to be compassionate and he should aid the helpless man.
- Oh how terrible! I shall be compassionate and help him.
- The Samaritan cleaned the man's wounds with wine and oil and placed him on his donkey to seek help.
- The Good Samaritan took the man to an inn and told the inn keeper to take care of the man. He said that when he returned he would pay whatever extra the innkeeper spent on the man. He returned the next day and payed
- Please take care of this man he is terribly injured. I will pass by in the morning to pay for whatever extra he spends.
