- I am stressed that i'm not going to have enough time to bring my grade up.
- When a person is stressed the emotional center of the brain activates the Amgydala
- The Amgydala helps define and regulate emotions. It sends signals to the Hypothalamus.
- The hypothalamus sends a distress singnal to the Autonomic nervous system
- The sympathetic portion in the ANS sends signals to the adrenal glands.
- The Adrenal glands produce hormones called Epinephrine to help regulate the response to stress
- Once your body responds to the hormones your body will enter a state of flight or fight .
- Depression
- Nausea
- Loss of Appetite
- Anxiety
