- Why, yes I have. Care to hear the story about how we became such a glorious empire and what empires are as a whole?
- Why are we here of all places?
- I see, so how did we grow from tiny village to an empire?
- You see boy, no empire starts off all big and strong, they were all just small settlements in the beginning.
- We're about to get to that
- You're telling me that this is how Rome got to where it is?!
- Why are those soldier's attacking this village?!
- Well, you see, you don't become an empire by just sitting around and doing nothing. You must conquer those around you to increase your size and spread your culture and beliefs
- Yes, the expansion of most empires comes with such conflict
- Why are we in Egypt?
- From the Iberian Peninsula to the Nile and beyond. Empires can unite people of all different races and beliefs
- To show you that empires, such as Rome, incorporate people of many different origins under one banner
- Why are we back in Rome?
- As the empire grew and the culture spread, those conquered peoples slowly became more and more like their conquerors.
- This isn't Rome. This is that village that I showed you earlier. The one that was conquered
- Is this the end of our journey?
- Yes, I've taught you all I can about Rome and Empires as a whole. They take over lands of many different peoples and rule over them.
- And, as you can see, as Rome expanded to this size, it never lost its identity. An empire must never lose its identity as it grows larger and larger.
