- Scene 3There are three murders who set out to kill Banquo and Fleance. The murderers killed Banquo but failed at killing Fleance. Banquo told Fleance to avenge his death before he died. The murders then went off to tell Macbeth what happened.
- Scene 1Banquo is talking to Macbeth and is telling him about the witches predictions. He was saying that if Macbeth's came true then his should too. Macbeth then talks to two murders about killing Banquo and persuades them by telling them that he is their enemy.
- Scene 2Macbeth feels his plan of taking the throne didn't end when he killed Duncan. He says that he kill anyone in his way. He also tells his wife to pretend to be kind to Banquo because he has planned a way to kill Fleance and Banquo.
- Macbeth is a tyrant.
- Scene 4Macbeth is told that Banquo was killed but that Fleance escaped. Macbeth is angered by his escape .Macbeth sees Banquo's ghost and starts going crazy. Lady Macbeth has to tell the guests to leave and get Macbeth back to reality.
- Scene 5The three witches get in trouble for getting in Macbeth's business by Hecate. She then tells them that she will take over the but they have to create visions that will send him messages that will fill him with false security. Then Hecate vanishes and the witches begin to prepare their charms.
- Scene 6Lennox and another lord called Macbeth a tyrant and they both suspect that Macbeth is responsible for Banquo's murder. Maclom and Macduff asked King Edward for help to take the throne back from Macbeth.Macbeth hears this and begins to prepare for war.
