- Terry The Prideful Turtle
- The story begins with Terry the turtle. Terry knows that he can do anything all on his own without the help of anyone else. He knows he is strong and fearless.
- One day Terry decided to go to his favorite flower patch to enjoy his surroundings. All of a sudden Roy the Rabbit shows up. "Get out of here," Terry tells Roy "This is my patch." Roy looks at Terry with caring eyes. "Maybe we can share it," Roy says, "There is enough space for the both of us." Terry looks in disgust. "No! This is my Patch!" Out of fear, Roy leaves.
- After the flower patch, Terry got hungry so he decided to go to his favorite apple tree. There he encounters Sherry the sheep. "I love apples," Sherry tells Terry. "That's too bad," Terry tells Sherry, "These are my apples." Sherry gets upset and decides to leave.
- After eating his apples Terry decides to go for a swim. As he is getting into the water Danny the duck shows up. "This should be a fun swim," Danny says, "Yeah, for me" Terry replies, "this is my river." Terry declares. "But I come here all the time," Danny says. "I do not care," Terry replies. Danny decides to leave and look for another river.
- After his swim, Terry goes about minding his business. He is enjoying his life alone. He did not want to be bothered by any other animals. Terry just wanted to be left alone since he knew he was better than everyone else. When suddenly tragedy struck.
- A Tornado began to form near Terry but he realized he was too slow. That's when he saw Roy the Rabbit run right past him like a lightning bolt. "Help me, Roy!" Terry pleaded. Roy briefly stopped and looked at Terry. Roy hesitated on his next move. "No, you can handle this on your own," Roy tells Terry. Roy proceeds to run away from the tornado. "Fine! I didn't need your help anyway!" Terry yells out.
- Terry went into his shell to shield himself from the tornado after receiving no help from Roy the rabbit. The tornado picked up Terry and launched him far away. Terry got cold and nervous not knowing what to do.
- It was a cold and stormy night as Terry started his journey back home. Terry was scared and alone when suddenly it began to thunder and rain. Terry was afraid until he saw a familiar face. It was Sherry the sheep. "Shelter me, Sherry," Terry told Sherry. "How would I shelter you?" Sherry questioned. "Keep me warm in your wool," Terry replied. "But this is my wool." Sherry said, "That's too bad." Sherry proceeded to run away in search of shelter.
- Terry continued on his path and came forth a dangerous wildfire. Terry was afraid once again not knowing what to do. He heard flapping noises above him so he looked up and saw Danny the Duck. "Down here!" Terry yelled. Danny looks at Terry and yells, "I see you, but I do not care!" And continues flying away.
- Terry continued wandering. Cold, lost, and afraid Terry lost hope. It was foggy by the night time and Terry was tired. He decided to look around and find some shelter so that he could rest.
- Terry finds a cave but is a little afraid to go in. He is unsure of what dangers may be in there but he goes in anyway. He slowly takes steps inching towards the cave.
- Terry shakes as he goes into the cave. "Why did no one help me?" He said out loud to himself. "I should have been nicer to everyone before." He states. "I wish I could go back and help them and maybe we could have been friends," Terry says as he goes into his shell and passes out from all the stress.
- Terry wakes up all of a sudden only to be surprised by Roy the Rabbit, Sherry the Sheep, and Danny the Duck all surrounding him. "Guys I'm sorry for not being nice with you guys." Terry says, "It's okay Terry, we heard what you said before you passed out." Sherry says. "We forgive you," Roy says. "We will help you out and we can be friends," Danny says. At this moment Terry realized maybe he can't do anything all on his own and having friends isn't so bad. The End.
