- Hugo's like a Racoon!!
- hahahahahahahahaha
- Absolutely!! he is always racheting in the cuboard!! haha
- hmm, It might upset me if someone said that about me but everyone finds it really funny!
- Later that evening...
- Evie is my friend, she won't tell on me.
- Hey Evie shall we sneak some sweets!?
- I'm telling Hugo!
- Ha! Hugo is sneaking sweets and I've spotted him!...I'm going to tell the adults because they think it is really funny when he does that!
- Hugo gets in trouble
- Now Evie has got me in trouble, why would she do that??
- Hugo I told you not to get sweets without asking first!
- Sorry mum
- That didn't go how I thought it would and now I feel embarrassed.
- We all had lots of fun playing games together, everyone joined in and had a a laugh. One funny thing that grandma said made everyone laugh!
- On the stairs
- Whaaat!?Why first she gets me in trouble and now she hits me in the head!?
- AArgh I'm super tired and can't deal with this right now, maybe we can just smooth it over
- Hugo wants some sweets and doesn't mind being a little bit cheeky and sneaking them. He thinks Evie would never tell anyone and even plans to share some of his sweets with her.
- Hugo tells the grown ups
- Why does nobody care that Evie keeps being mean to me when they aren't looking! I'm always the one to get in trouble and she gets away with everything! grrr!
- Hugos plan didn't wor and he got in trouble...not big trouble, but a bit. Evie felt a bit wierd about this afterwards and wonders if she has done the right thing
- Goodbyes
- What a lovely day!
- Phew I think we just dodged a bullet there
- Everyone seems quite happy, and nobody is cross with me. Hugo was a bit quiet but that is because he doesn't like goodbyes
- Evie senses Hugo is a bit annoyed and tries to reconnect in a playful way in the hopes that all will be forgotten, she also feels a bit embarrassed and doesnt quite know how to do this properly...it all goes a bit wrong....hugo is mad at her now
- I feel awkward and uncomfortable about what has happened.Maybe if I poke him he will realise I didn't mean it and that I want to to play and be friends
- The adults do not seem to take hugo very serious and this makes things even worse
- She didn't hit you she just poked you!
- She didn't mean anything bad by it Hugo
- Now Evie has hit me and walked off!!
- After everyone has said goodbye Evie feels better and like things are all going to be OK
- Sad and cross
- Evie has been horrible to me and mum is just making excuses for her instead of being on my side
- Evie was mean and got away with it
- Evie didn't mean to hurt you
- I hate that Hugo is upset. I know Evie didn't try to be mean but I don't know how to explain her actions. It is so complicated.
- Jenny and Cara chat
- communication isn't always clear and others don't always communicate in the same way you do
- With people we spend lots of time with, we can try to get to know the way they communicate that they are an
- We must try not to make assumptions about people's behaviour because we don't know the underlying cause
- The situation is left unresolved and Hugo feels Evie seems to have got away with been mean to him! It felt very unfair! Until Jenny suggests she will speak to Cara about the whole thing but this doesnt turn out quite like hugo had pictured!...
- The mums hatch a plan to help hugo and Evie understand each other a little better
