- During the time of post-pandemic, Marie went to buy groceries in the supermarket.
- Hi. I'm Marie, a mother.
- RIGHT TO BASIC NEEDS:
- I have to buy vegetables, fruits, and milk for my family to keep them healthy.
- RIGHT TO CHOOSE
- Hm... Which brand should I choose?
- RESPONSIBILITY TO ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS:
- Oh no! These pickles do not promote environmental awareness because it has a plastic container. I shall not choose this product.
- Marie goes to the cashier to pay for the items she bought.
- RIGHT TO REDRESS AND ACTION:
- However, one of the vegetables that Marie bought turned out to be rotten.
- This product is already rotten. I would like to replace it.
- So she goes back to the mall and expresses her right to redress by replacing the product.
- After that incident, Marie went to her local community to promote the importance of consumer rights and responsibilities.
- We should be informed of our rights and responsibilities as consumers. During this post-pandemic, we should not hoard food and we should help one another.
- RESPONSIBILITY FOR SOCIAL CONCERN AND SOLIDARITY:
- If we are aware of our rights and responsibilities as consumers, we will be healthy, have healthy families, a healthy community, a healthy environment, and a healthy country.
